Why Should I Choose Steel For My Building Instead Of Concrete?

That is a great question! Here are several reasons why steel is a better building material than concrete:

  1. Strength: Steel has a higher strength/weight ratio than concrete. That means that you need far less material to build a steel structure that can bear the same weight as a comparable concrete one will.
  2. Safety: Steel can bend more easily than concrete without breaking. This makes steel structures much safer, especially in areas prone to earthquakes.
  3. Integrity: Since steel is produced in a closed mill, it is consistent through and through. Concrete, on the other hand, might be mixed at a job site. This means that it is exposed to the elements, possibly resulting in irregularities.
  4. Eco-friendliness: Recycled concrete can only be reused as roadbed and not as the primary construction material in a new building. Steel, on the other hand, can be recycled indefinitely without losing any of its integrity.
