How Will My Steel Building Handle A Fire?

Steel is a noncombustable material. That is one of the many great advantages of choosing to build a structure out of steel. Your building’s frame, walls, and roof will not catch on fire. Nor will they provide fuel to any fire that has started burning around them. So if a nearby tree or wooden structure gets struck by lightning, your steel structure will withstand the blaze intact.

If, in a worst-case scenario, a fire breaks out inside your steel building, the flammable materials there may burn, but the fire will not destroy your structure. Your frame and panels may suffer from discoloration, but they will remain standing.
